I am just really knowing who this band is....Born Again....is the song that drew me. I have been you-tubing for weeks now on the band (wiki as well) and watching the videos and personal interviews I am convinced Peter loves the Lord and would like for you to experience this love. I saw newsboys a few years ago with Peter Fuler and I just saw them this past weekend with Michael Tait and I liked it alot more with Michale Tait. And he was entertaining to watch, he always had little dance moves going on haha. But I'm glad they sang the old newsboys songs because those are the ones I know but they do need to make some new ones.

Man, I'm gonna miss Peter Furler... this guy just seems to be showing off his legs in his tight pants... the girls sure seem to appreciate it. :( Seems like a totally different atmosphere... :(

It was not my intention to be mean, or to trash Michael Tait... I saw the Newsboys at Winter Jam in Greensboro, and although the did a great job, I'm going to stand by my original statement and repeat the something was missing there... there was a spiritual and introspective atmosphere when Peter Furler spoke when I saw the Newsboys before, that was not in the performance at Winter Jam. Also, some of the old songs have changed to the point you can't sing along...

THe singer before Tait was named Peter Furler and he was amazing....but Tait seemed to do good....but Peter was simply awesome. He got the crowds attention. Even when he wasnt singing

I Saw Newboys at Monterey last year. But, I didn't get a chance to see them at Del Mar this year. So, I didn't get a chance to see Michael Tait sing. I was at the C28 stage. But, I heard he did good.

Newsboys will always be a part of my life, but I'm not too sure about Mr. Taite replacing the singer before him.

Then again, I was at the C28 stage, so I couldn't say if they were good or not. How was the Newsboys concert?

Tait has been getting great reception as he continues. I'm sure people said the same exact thing when "the singer before him" replaced John James. It all will work out. Tait has Grammy's. He had a number 7 hit on the Adult Top 40. He has 3 platinum albums. One was a 2x platinum album. And he was apart of making a number 4 debut on the Billboard 200. He knows what he's doing. He was by far the most expirienced and best qualified for the job.

You're probably right, that it will all work out... but for me, Peter Furler seemed almost like the heart of the Newsboys... and with him gone, the whole vibe is different... Also, the way he sings is of course very different from the way Michael sings... I understand why Peter wanted to leave, and I wish him and his wife all the best... but I still miss him... "treetop squirrels smile and wave" sounds completely different when Michael sings it... lol ;)
