actually, modern engines do not need warming. Even the manual says to just go and ride easily for the first minutes. It's not at all beneficial to let it idle, unless it is very cold (and by very cold we're talking below freezing temps, probably).

@LightningMAS There is no point in "letting the bike warm up" by having it running on idle for x minutes, it is always better to let an engine warm up with a bit of load by driving carefully until it reaches a good working temperature. And why not letting it run on idle? Bad lubrication, most bikes have very low oil pressure at idle that combined with the fuel washing away the oilfilm on the cylinder walls gives unwanted wear in the engine. So, bottom line, let it warm up by driving it...

You are supposed to let the throttle off, if you shift with clutch lol.
Just do clutchless upshifts, much less wear & tear for clutch.
But damn, gotta have a test ride from dealership. Bike looks more than promising...

20% BaB - 30% Landstraße - 10% Stadt und den Rest auf dem Ring oder anderer Rennstrecke wo sie dir das Fliegen beibringen kann... ;)
Tipp vorweg:
Solltest du, wie ich, ein Exemplar ohne ABS fahren, dann brems dich auf den ersten Metern bereits ein, und zwar mit viel Gefühl und Respekt!

Ach ja, und besorg dir schon vor deiner Probefahrt potentielle Käufer für deine Blade, denn nach der Fahrt wirst du sie brauchen.
