  • We did play this tune many times, but never the spanish tingle. Good memories.

  • This is great stuff -- I have it on a CD called , "Put it There" . Thanks for the posting

  • Recorded on November 6, 1929 (as the label states), and originally released on Victor V-38133; the "Bluebird" reissue is from 1940, when RCA began to acknowledge the early work of Don Redman, Fats Waller, et. al., listing all of the band's personnel on the same label {though misspelling "McKinny"}- the only other time they did that was on the Victor "Swing Classic" issues of bands like Benny Goodman and Tommy Dorsey. Nice montage of "Victrolas" and the various places they often turned up....

  • One of the MCP's greatest numbers and I love it particularly for being one of the handful of recordings they made with Fats Waller on piano.

  • A lively surprise from long before the reign of PC.

  • Look at all the Victrolas :)

Great pictures and song, thank you for posting it

  • and who wouldn't love it?....great song and pics. thanks

  • Wonderful pictures. For years i played the banjo in that piece of music. I loved it.

  • MCP are always great, but your photo montage is a work of art in itself. Well done!

  • I love "I love it" Thanks a treal hot number....
