@CHLOTHARIUS Just ask yourself where not caring takes you. It's not a static condition. People are social beings. Loneliness is processed in the same part of the brain as physical pain. People in solitary confinement end up going nuts. You might feel fine for the next 10 years. What about after 25? Loneliness sucks.
