November 12, 2010 is the official opening day for Breckenridge this year. They'll start making snow on the lower runs at least a week before that and there's normally enough fresh powder on top to make for great skiing for a few days before Thanksgiving (FIRST THING IN THE MORNING). If there happens to be a dump of "pristine powder" the best place to hit it is up in the bowl (walk in) under Peak 7 EARLY. Tourists don't walk it and the Thanksgiving 4-day weekend crowd will wipe out all the rest.
im goin there in late nov. this year and I am worried about the snow. do you think it will be good powder? or will it be shitty man made snow and not the prestine colorado snow I keep hearin about? please respond with your opinion. thanks.
