dude i so agree, its THE sparda sword man, one of the fittest swords in all capcoms games and he gives it to a chick to could barely lift it?????? i'm sorry but if his father were still alive he would be PISSED
this scene (and the later corny one)is supposed to hint players that dante is the devil may cry but lol... so few people get that... capcom still had those re voice actors back then so there is no surprise the voice acting is wierd.
I remember being on Dante must die mode and I pretended I was Dante dressed in costume, guns, sword and all. When I struggled to beat Mundas and I had beaten him I proper cried like Dante did because of the relief when I beat Mundas and I was thinking of a girl I loved pretending she was Trish.
The "I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with LIIIIIIIIGH!!!!" became a running joke with me and my friends, lol

Dante's voice actor in DMC1 was barely an actor at all. His voice in DMC3 was much better.
