It has become a habit for me to discover in the thoughts of others those ideas I have originally developed on my own, and reading Valera simply re-establishes that tendency, however it does have the benefit of re-affirming my thoughts with like minds of which Francisco is certainly one.
I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes it's irritating, because I feel like something got stolen from me; sometimes it's marvelous, because I feel re-affirmed and in synch with the great thinkers. I recommend you to watch "Noosphere and Transpersonal Interconnection" - very interesting.
Francisco varela, for me is like the bruce lee in the neuroscience. I am very proud that a chilean brake the all the rules and gave a new perspective to the hole brain/mind/cognition theory.
good quote, boring video and song
