Ah ya shouldnt give up on it man. There are epic scenes in that game with classic music to go i.e. the battle between the two gardens and the plot for the assasination and the whole scene in Ultemecias castle to name a few. It all brings back great memories. You should give it another try if you still have it :)

In my opinion, there's never been a more defiant main character in Final Fantasy's in America. Squall, or Leon, is one of the more stout protagonists because he took pride in his work and not in himself. Nonetheless, his will to "finish" was worth him breaking down all of a sudden in Galbadia Garden, never forget Squall because ... He never wanted to be forgotten in the first place.
