The Damita Jo album was majorly SLEPT ON and black listed because of the Superbowl. The album should of debuted at number 1. Virgin should of promoted the album with more videos, performances but were too scared of the backlash from the Superbowl. One positive thing that did come out was Janet getting a Grammy nomination for the album (even though the Grammys are shit) despite the negative press. Damita Jo was a good album.
