@kevgrey1985 anyone who can remotely connect corrie and that unspeakable sewage big brother is ill and should be quietly put to sleep along with participants, crew, audience(for them i may commute to life)this unspeakable garbage is a overt insult to those too thick to realise what little intellect they posess is being insulted.crap like this plumbed new depths tv has yet to recover from if ever.what next ib your diseased mind:"ex aushwitz guards do the funniest things".?
@MeBenHalpin.i,m an avid fan of the street but bill roach is not a brilliant actor but a very shrewd man who realised he would never rise to great acclaim and using great forward vision made his character indespensible to the street and had reaped very nice financial rewards for fifty years and long may he continue to do so.great no an institution yes.
On the original, where the Corrie theme is, they were playing an Elvis record because it was of the era Corrie startd, but because that record was copyright, YouTube disabled all the audio on the video, so I had to dub the Corrie theme over it instead
You Tube wouldn't allow the original opening music to this (Elvis) so I dubbed the corrie theme over it, and finally you can now here the full audio on the video!
I use to watch corry with me mam when i was a nipper . Now im an old man and it,s still going :)

Unusual to have any political references in corrie, but these few examples are worth noting.
Bill Loach who plays Ken Barlow couldn't be different from his character.
Ken Barlow is an intellectual, a socialist ex-teacher, university educated.
But in real life, Loach is a Right-Wing, selfish, reactionary scamp who loves the Tories.
Plus - how this tit actor has had 50 fucking years of continual work on corrie is one of life's mysteries!

@No1barney1 Im sorry but William Roach is wonderful actor, 50 years on Britains top soap, you can have nothing but admiration for the man.
