Lots of pastors have taught about baptism in the holy spirit and speaking in tongues and actually don't have knowledge of what the scripture really teaches about them. Scripture commands us to test the Spirits and the first way to test the Spirits is to go to the word of God. However, a lot of what Pastors have taught is not necessarily from the word of God. How do you 'catch' the HOLY SPIRIT? This is another one of those phrases that really confuses me. Also I've never understood why people are always carried out of the service when God begins to have his way with them. If the preacher felt a touch from God like that would u suggest he be taken out? If God begins working in someone let him have his way. You can't dictate how the spirit will move.

Why is it that Christians are so quick to say "judge not" yet they're the first to pull out the gavel. Unless you were in the service with her, inside her body you can't say what she did or did not receive. As for the term "catching the holy ghost" it's not a literal statement and some people say it that way. It's the best way they know how to describe it.
