  • wtf :DD carelessly) guys) you need to check your gear 100 times before playing xD but your guitar sounds like someone was hitting it against the wall for an hour or something about, u know) :D u neeed practice really bad! all the lines sound really terrible...

  • Ok firstly thanks for the 'contructive' critiocism, it really helps a bunch, secondly it's not my guitar, I wasn't in charge of it, blame Chris for that not me, thirdly our bands had been messed about during the course with tons of line up changes and it ended up literally being put together earlier that day because of it, so with all that being taken into consideration it wasn't a bad attempt, if you're going to criticise at least say something useful instead of just bitching next time yeah.

  • @moltenriches if you want some constructivity - here it goes)

first of all: vox... vocals. hm. i'm not really sure about one thing. did your vocalist hear the song before at all? sounds like he didn't. it's a matter of practice, u know.

second. you say "blame Chris" and stuff. guys, when it comes to band you're all ONE PIECE.

  • Yes we are all one piece, but I hold Chris soley responsible for not checking his guitar was in tune. Secondly I'm the vocalist and no I wasn't vcery familiar with the song, but I gave it my best shot, like I said this was put together in a day. We would've loved to have had more practice but we didn't have the chance as like I said before our line-up was changed a lot out of our hands, aswell as the setlist, I was originally the bassist then drummer, the guitarist & finally for this song singer

  • @moltenriches next is drum line. it's not so bad but there's one serious problem. it's not "hunting for witches" at all. intro, main part, breaks. it's not played the way your drummer did it. that's why you've lost all the drive and energy... it sounds a bit dead, you know.

and you also say that you were confused with circumstances. if it's so, it's better to say "we'll do it better next time" but not to look for excuses. it was a bad attempt and if you can do better - just do.

  • In know it's not the correct drum line, but Johnny's not a drummer, he's a guitarist, I'm not just trying to look for excuses I'm just telling you the facts, we only had one day to put these four songs together and none of us were fully comfortable with what we were playing nd this was a one off for college, this band will not happen again as i refuse to wrok with the drummer again as his pessimism about us not making the gig ate away at a lot of our rehearsal time

  • you also have problems with sound but i think it's just a problem of your gear, not yours.

sorry, my english is not perfect, and i hope you won't mind if there are any mistakes.

  • It's not out gear, the guitar on the right is mine and the bassist's bass is his, but the rest is either college stuff or other college students stuff, if you want to watch a good gig then wait until june this year when I'll be in an 80's tribute band with 6 months rehearsal under my belt as opposed to one day, subscribe and you'll get to see the videos when they come out, I presume there will be some

  • noobs

  • Granted this isn't perfect, but we put this together in a day, plus the guitarist on the left was carrying his guitar around carelessyly and knocked it out of tune, which yes is very 'noobish'
