I can see wrapping some green cloth around that pedestal and base then attaching some green fishing line to the base to move it. Once all of that is done use some software to green screen all of those out and make your own USS Enterprise adventures.

ps. I would wrap because I would not want to paint it.

I think I just creamed my boxer shorts! I'm so very very jealous. The cruel thing is, I have the money to spare, and I know where there is one for sale at a decent price....I just don't have the space to display her, and I'd also be shit scared of breaking her. Whoever buys these owes it to Trek fandom to look after them for the future....and I don't want to take on that kind of responsibility. Back to collecting my miniatures methinks. :|
