A few years ago in the afternoon, my PMX went into standby mode. We still got the video feed, but during the other segments the standby screen was there. The next morning, the standby screen changed to the 1996 version and I could only hear the video feed. I did not record it, but I recorded a time when it went into standby at the end of November. I don't I will be able to post it because it was recorded on a PVR and not a VCR.
Interesting. Where I live the PMX has the weirdest standby mode I've ever seen!
All pages have a light aqua background with nothing else (not even those boxes separating weather data!) and the normal temp. page shows the video feed behind, if there's one. I have several recordings of that standby, including a PMX configuration menu screen that happened to show up! It's on tape, I just need to figure out how to transfer it on my computer...

Interesting how they brought back the solid blue backdrop and the current conditions page. Really reminds me of the old 90s TWN.
