Wonderful story. this really reminds me a regional song of my childhood talking about 1793 Vendée war in france: a little girl losing her father, her brother and her loved horse to republicans then playing drums on the battlefield for her region..She loses everyone again and end alone in a cave to die from hunger

The music alone will make you feel emotional, add a plot like the one in the movie, and you will be crying even after its done! I've seen a lot of sad movies but this one touched me in a way that no other movie can or will ever do. This movie should be seen by all the leaders of countries that are in war today. People only think that it's the soldiers who get hurt, but this movie shows that it's the common people who get it the worse. I truly can't put into words what I feel about this movie.
