  • This is one very "mere" video. =p

  • seems like everyones dad is in this movie lol.

  • Greeeeaaaat

  • 4:48 crank it...

  • I had the pleasure of beating Dick Mann, Dave Aldana and Gary Nixon (RIP) on an August night in 1973 at Santa Fe Speedway in Chicago when Aldana took out Buggsy and Gary in turn 1 leaving me and about 6 other novices to race! I think I came in 3rd! LOL!

  • I was curious about bikes when I was a little kid but after seeing this movie in 71, I was hopelessly addicted. I live, eat, sleep, and breathe motorcycles. Putting the kids on the BMX's at the very beginning was pure genius! Outside of CA, we had never seen that before and it gave us our way to transition to dirtbikes.

  • #2 is my dad when he was about ten years old. ahaha :)

  • @BUCHTABABY823

  • I love the footage of the guy on the MR50, my neighbor does the exact same thing on his :D

  • Most Worst time to end a movie part ever!!

  • On Any Sunday, chasing echos of dreams

    I touch the yesterday anew

Something inside of me goes back through the years....

And I'm a kid I used to know

    I'm Flying...

  • Screaming inside of me, and laughing out loud

I'm losing contact with the ground, I'm flyin'

Free as the wind, faster than time, reason and rhyme are running behind.

Tasting the sun Feeling the Earth, Knowing my worth and freeing my mind...

On Any Sunday, like the tail of a kite,

Flying and dancing in the wind.

I'd like to break the string and drift out of sight

I may not pass this way again..

    I'm Flyin'

  • What a great movie! It just gives you a good feeling on the inside everytime you watch it. I saw this movie in 1971 when I was 14 and because of it I'm still riding motorcycles almost 40 years later. I thought Malcom Smith was and still is the greatest. What great memories!!

  • In the opening sequence, the man in the suit is riding what appears to be a classic Yamaha R5 350.

  • This is the greatest motorcycle movie ever made

  • Free inexhaustible energy is real! But the coverup is very strong,Get a REAL working magnet motor at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Start the revolution!

  • Never get enough of this movie and the mood it puts me in...takes me back to childhood and better days.

  • 3:11 this first tabletop on a bycycle?

  • There is nothing like to refreshing sound of Bruce Brown's voice in On Any Sunday.

One of the finest documentary films ever. It still stands the test of time.

I would love to see an updated version for todays expansion of motorcycling.

  • @xxskifast Agree..perfect voice for this slice of 1970's Americana.

  • 34 to 38 secondsa.. wow what a cal girl, what memories.. thanx for posting this movie, one of my all time faves :) rok on broi!!!

  • Just caught 1/2 of this on Fuel TV. I haven't seen this movie in decades. Wow does this bring back memories! My first bike a Yamaha mini-enduro which of course came after the Schwinn Sting-Ray that I thought was my motocross bike. Thanks to Evel Knievel and this film, and of course the wild child I was and that still lives inside of me, there has never been a day since 1972 I haven't owned a motorcycle.

Those little guys at 1:04 and 3:43 are rockin those wheelies :)

  • Petite dédicace pour Nico D de Datch.fr

  • A true classic cycle flick...one of my all time favorites!!!!

  • is he going to meet with sponsors or what why is mert in the suit in a buisness area

  • Very top.

  • Men with BIG hairy balls .

    Respect.

  • lol the beginning is funny heavy sound (from an other bike ofcourse)

and then seeing a bike guy on a small bike :D

  • 4:48 let'r hang out baby.....!!!!!

  • i dont know why but i get a lump in my throat every time i hear this music ot watch these On Any Sunday Movies...i remember seing it in the theater's when it came out..

    damn good movie

  • @onefugowie

Me too...just hearing that theme song reminds me of when my Dad took me to the theatre in 71 to see this...sparked a lifetime of bike racing!

  • 8:55 GET IT ON Homebucket !!

  • You Sure this is 1971 not 81?

  • @Drakey01 It was 1971 for sure. I have a VHS copy of the movie.

  • @Drakey01 definitely 71, I saw it in the theatre as a kid.

  • Kids riding motorcycles with no helmets...I remember that.....awesome

  • Yea B4 the rise of the "Nanny State". B4 "Big Brother" turned into an all powerful, "Big MOTHER". I mean, for kids, OK, yea. Helmets. But adults? It's not so much wearing helmets, it's being forced to. Being told, "Do it, or else". If there were no helmet laws, I bet 99% of most people would still wear helmets. It's common sense. But, Helmets + Seat Belts = $, period. Government doesn't care of you smash your head in on a windshield. They just want the fine/TAX money. Nothing more.

  • @CADtekk are you a fag?

  • I GREW UP WITH THIS MOVIE.... and the bike that jump the bush in slow mo is a 175cc husqvana 2 stroke i own that bike but mine has a bigger tank for desert racing :)

  • The guy on bike 87...8:57, now that is some serious gear shifting! Awesome!

  • @muso4001, that is the great Mark Brelsford, arguably the second best American rider ever. Shame is career was cut short by injury.

  • 8.58

  • the mid 70s was a great time- I had a stingray "clone" and turned it into a "bmx" by taking off the fenders, chain guard, swapping out the banana seat for a single seat- but I actually bought a bmx style handlebar. I think it was a short window of time before bmx bikes were manufactured as such-mostly conversions were the only way to go for those first few years in the 70s (at least thats what I remember)

  • lol such a big dude on a little bike

  • Fantastic film, not just for cycle lovers, but a good period piece that takes me back to my childhood and my little Honda Z-50...thought I was Evel back then. I can remember riding my beautiful little neighbor(and first crush)girl and thinking that I was just the sh** LOL. Great film..puts me in a good mood every time. Take me back to the 60's and 70's PLEASE!

  • I agree dude! I too had a Z-50- and in 1976 or 77, I jumped by stingray 'clone' conversion to bmx bike on a ramp in the street- completely wiped out and slid down the street on my face. I remember watching Evel Knievel on TV that very night with one eye- the other had a big bandage across it from my wipeout. I was 10 I think. those were great times man-

  • Is that Bob Osborn waving the flag at the BMX race?

  • It's all about those kids doing tabletops on Schwinn Stingrays at about 2:30 to 4:10 - Ultra Old School BMX

  • fantastic loveIT

  • Makes you want to go back in time...

  • @spartus09 Indeed,everytime I watch it.

  • do you have on any sunday staring kenny roberts sr? i love that movie!

  • Will upload it this week!!

  • Some of this was used in cut chemist and dj shadows product placement near the end.. pretty sure of that anyway!

  • Man, where to begin? This movie was awesome. Thanks for putting it up, i feel bad i got to watch it without any of the money i payed going to the film maker. I hope that changes one day, Cheers

  • The kid riding the wheelie is Jeff Ward- future 500cc champion Kawasaki rider, now auto racer.

  • At 7:46 is Mert on a motocross track or is he on a dirt track with a jump.

  • That's a TT. A flat track in which they race into the infield, through a right turn, over a jump, over another right turn then back onto the oval. It's fun!

  • uber wheelie 3:44

  • Ja, erg vet !! Lekker old-school door het zand jakkeren..

  • Mooie film, Snorro, bedankt voor de moeite!
