There is so much that is remarkable about this film. From Singer/songwriters Paul McCrane & the lovely Irene Cara, to the incredible choreography of Louis Falco to the wonderful direction and writing of this script.  The TV show and the remake while wonderful in their own way never quite made lightning strike the same way as this film. Irene Cara is an extraordinary talent..that can't really be eclipsed. Not quite sure how someone with her mammoth talent could fade from the scene.
