1. Compared to the AoSth version, the Dr. Robotnik in the SatAM version is more badass...

2. Just like most of the 90's cartoons, the intro kicks ass...

3. Yeah, Princess Sally Acorn is awesome... And Bunnie Rabbot will definitely own Cream, who's also a rabbit in the Sonic X series...

4. The essence of RINGS in this series is a nod to the fans of the game

Far as I ever heard there was a game planned not long after the series for a 32 but platform. Although for unknown reasons only the demo first stage was shown before the project was canned.

After this show was cancelled apparently they started a comic series to it, the first 50 or so are supposed to be pretty close to the old toon, its still going stragenlt enough at nearly 200 issues.

Oh yeah, and then there was this version I dug every Saturday morning. I used to consider this version of Sonic the cartoon to be the more "serious" one. But it still had some elements of comedy and stuff. There was just more action/adventure/drama and less slapstick comedy like in the other syndicated series.

I remember them lines Sonic used to say too: "Gotta speed, keed!", "Gotta stryde, clyde!". LOL!

Those were the days when Saturday morning cartoons used to matter, unlike today.

Underground rocked because sonic actually had a family that he was able to spend time with, plus the music was kinda cool in a way. I still think that this is the best sonic show of all though. Agreed. A lot of people complain about this version (or ANY version) not being true to the games. But you know what? This is the truest to the games of all the Sonic toons I've seen, and even if it's not totally accurate, it's still something I feel good watching and I'm proud to remember it.
