I must be totally honest ,I am not a massive LP fan although all the stuff they have done in the past I don't mind ...HOWEVER when I heard this album it blew me away ...I know it's been labeled as a concept album etc etc but you have to give LP credit for moving forward and taking a very big risk ..hats off to them for that ...so to all you die hard LP fans I say this ..embrace the change and admire them for what they have done ...as there is always room for both old and new stuff surely ?

No the album sucks.

I respect when bands change but there is a big difference beetwen selling out and progressing musicly. No heavy guitar sounds, barely any screaming of Chester, no more Mikes rapping and i fell sorry for drummer cause 50% of the songs are using the same beat all over agian. Linkin Park died in 2006.

This is what i call pussy music comparing to Hybrid and Meteora.

Dead By Sunrise album is million times better.

This is really disappointing. This is such a radical change. This sounds moar like pop to me. :( Enter Shikari (who are my favourite band) had a change in their style of music from Take To The Skies and Common Dreads but their music till sounds awesome, they know how to attract new fans but still stay with the old schoolers Linking Park is just abandoning their old style :( I can only think that this will attract fans of Pop but as for the older fans. Mike is actually singing a bit now instead of only rapping, and their trying to put a newer edge on their music. their not abandoning their old style totally, their just adding a little bit to it. i also like the older rapmetal LP but i think these nice soft songs are good once in a while.

I really like this song ^^ It's been a long time since I've listened to LP. I watched them live during the time of Minute to Midnight and they were AMAZING. Sure their new stuff is a bit different, but if they'd made a whole new album that was really similar to their past material, people would STILL complain! hybrid theory was an amazing album that any band including linkin park will probably never be able to outdo, every song on that album was excellent it is a challenge to even pick a favourtie song because each song is a strong contender!
