He and Izzie both truly love one another and are each other's soulmates, and soulmates should be together. They can be best friends and lovers at the same time, all the ebst couples are. So yes, I want them to be together. Do you want George to be with a woman he doesn't love and doesn't make him happy and Izzie to be with a guy she is not in love with and only has sexual feelings for?

He looks sad to me. Like why now? He slept with Callie because Izzie told him she wasn't in love with him the episode before, and he looked heartbroken by that, and now he realized he made a mistake because Izzie does love him.I think he loves Callie, but he is not in love with her or he wouldn't be regetting his marriage every episode and saying he has doubts all the time. And if he didn't love Izzie, he would not be running away from her.
