the huuuuge packet isn't so big because of the instructions...it's probably mostly filled with disclaimers and health warnings and stuff that the government makes them put in the box.
OMG !!! I just love you and your videos !! Thanks for making diabetes a better thing to live with!
Always wanted someone to make videos like this ! Gonna start reading your blog too :D
THANK YOU ! I agree with all of your 10 (including twilight xD) ..... there is one more thing: I have a pump, and wearing a dress with a pump sucks. And that bag with meter and insulin penn is too big !
ps. I am a 1st year med. student and a type 1(offically) with a insulin pump !!
i subbed you brother. i hate being diabetic. i feel sick sleepy/lathargic all the time. i can't seem to get it controlled n my veterans administration nurses are very concerned about that. i would like to talk further about this with you by private email. happy new year n may God bless. :)
Wow...you spoke so well about how I feel about diabetes. It's so hard to be positive when it seems like another full time job. My favorite is real life friends with diabetes...I have such trouble with it. Especially since I was diagnosed with type two at the age of 20 and that doesn't seem common...Thanks for your expressing!
There is some better jewelry out there. If you google hopepaige, they have some pretty decent bracelets. And I use photos on my dogtags at cShoresal. People who usually leave their medical jewelry in their dresser seem okay with some of those options.
You took the words right out of my 17yo daughter's mouth, Mike. Love the video... honesty, pacing, all of it. My daughter likes to be in studies because it sometimes gives her a few days off from diabetes, even if she does have to spend those days in the hospital hooked up to a computer.
Hey Mike, I make Real CT Maple Syrup, I have a newly dx type 1 son, less than 2 years....MS has anti oxidants and is better for you than fake, additives and preservatives....happy to send you some in Spring...I mail to Phoenix to a friend each spring....thanks for the videos...keep smiling
I like your list. I'm pleased that someone has almost the same list as me, except I don't have a problem carrying stuff around. A 'pen', spare cap and a small meter fits into my pocket and still room for a phone etc Do you really use a syringe and bottle?
I think I need to hire you as my teacher for doing vlogs - - love the way you do it - so at ease (I'd be darting my eyes all over the place LOL). BTW, I found it hard to say negative things about diabetes as well - and remember - I'm the gal who said she also can't stand Celine (think of fingernails on a chaulkboard at school - yeah - hurts the ears)!
I don't know how long you've had D, I've had it for nearly 12 years and I JUST now found a S-F syrup that tastes like Maple it's SF Mrs. Buttersworth.
This was awesome! Thanks for making me laugh this morning! Love the twilight interlude and the crumpled up 100 things list :) You have a great spirit and I appreciate you using it in this way. Cheers!

@codey345 I'll give it a try and let you know!

@codey345 The whole thing is- you have to stay away from the sugar. Try the sugar free syrup. It tastes just as good.
