Carola is very good for pop music's current abysmally low standards, but here her considerable vocal deterioration is evident, as is her lack of discipline - her breathing technique is very bad (she is struggling to reach the end of each phrase and copious air intake is evident), and her upper notes aren't anywhere near as relaxed and effortless as they were years ago. Too bad! She used to have an AMAZING voice, and she would be able to recover it with proper study.
@Elixir155 It's so painful listening to this, comparing her voice to back then when she recorded these songs. What happened to her voice? And her pronounciation... She used to be an amazing singer.
And really, she should have stuck to rock with the occational softer song (but that's my personal opinion of course... :-p )
Her voice is so raspy! It's almost hard to believe it's the same singer who recorded "The Runaway" album... :-(
@Elixir155 Such a patethic bullshit comment! This was a long demanding concert. It's just not possible keeping it up perfectly throughout the whole show. Her voice has not detoriorated unnaturally in any way. Thumbs down for your stupid comment.
I remember this performance. I even managed to give Carola a hand kiss in backstage. She looked very good in leather!
