I only harvested the first two sisters when I thought ADAM might be really important... then I realized I had more than I'd ever need and saved the rest... but I still got the ridiculously terrible "bad" ending

at least now I've seen the ending I SHOULD have gotten

There are three endings actually, the "Bad" ending has a different voiceover depending on how many Little Sisters you harvested.

You get the first ending in this video for killing, and you get the second ending for saving.

The teddy bears have ammo, weapons, unique tonics and a SHITLOAD of Adam.

When I first played this (and got the good ending), I figured Fontaine would just kill you at 4:59 if you didn't save them. I would have preferred that, because it would be a logical consequence for your actions without passing moral judgement on the player like the bad endings do.

actually, if you kill just 1, you get the evil ending, but if you save them, then you get almost as much ADAM, and the hypnotize plasmids.

No, I think that splicer they show killing people at the end is you. You went crazy for adam and became a splicer yourself. It leaves some room for inference as to what you did to the little sisters at the end. But basically you become a splicer, leave rapture, and wreak havoc on the world.

you dont become a splicer, you become the leader of the city and the splicers. that explains the number of bathyspheres around the sub. their just your minions u sent up to kill the men on the sub and steal the nuke.

1.) When you harvest them, she talks in evil voice.

2.) When you harvest some and save some, she says same evil things but in delightful voice.

3.) When you save all, she gives you praise.

Ha I just beat the game a few hours ago, and I already had 500 adam when I went to Fontaine, so when I drained his adam all those times, I was LOADED. Best game I've ever played.

There's one little sister where you have no choice but to harvest or rescue her. If you do not, you cannot advance from the room this takes place in.

Your choice in this room determines your ending if you don't touch the other girls.

this game is amazing. not that anyone cares, but the first time i played through i was a complete melee/stealth set-up. i used wrench jockey, the sport boost, the camoflague, frozen field, and the one that made your attacks do more damage on unsuspecting targets. the name of that last one eludes me.

plus, the game set itself up for a pretty epic prequel; i can't really see a sequel happening.

there's no bug if you save allof the you get the good ending, if you just harvest several or just one in your case you get the bad ending. there's a third ending, but the only difference is the Dr.'s voice is extremley angerer then the other bad ending.

The Three endings are as follows:

Evil Ending, which you saw in the video above.

The so called "sad" ending, which is the same as the evil ending, but Tenenbaum (sp?), the lady narrating all three endings, is sad, instead of angry when she speaks. You get this ending through some combination of rescuing and harvesting little sisters.

The Good ending above come from saving all the little sisters ('tis the one I got :D).

I dont know...but I imagine the game would be extremely difficult, nay impossible, without collecting any ADAM. I suppose it could be done. Problem is the first girl you encounter you HAVE to either harvest or rescue her, or you can't move on.
