I think it's really cool to see the full effect of their shows, I mean when they do it on a grand scale. In the states, at least the venue I saw them in, they did not have the room for all the lights, pyro, props, etc. but it also made for a very intimate experience. It was actually kind of nice too. One day I hope to see them do it up like in this video though.

If you want to hear more Marco, listen to Tarot. I love Marco as much as the next guy, and the dude has one hell of a voice, but this is Nightwish. Their music wouldn't work without a female singer. I was skeptical about Annette at first and I hated Amaranth when I first heard it, but she has grown on me and I found DPP to be an amazing record. Tuomas is one of the best songwriters living today.

Dark Passion Play is awesome and Anette can sing very well these songs. Lately I have seen her improving a LOT in singing the old songs. Tarja was awesome in Nightwish and is awesome still in her solo career. I have decided to like Nightwish also with Anette. Soon I'm gonna buy Nightwish "Lokikirja" CD -pack which include ALL the albums! And I wait the new album in 2011. By the way, it is TUOMAS not Toumas! :)

Both Anette and Tarja have a very personal style, and also feelings that people shouldn't hurt by comparing them or even insulting (to Anette, in many cases). This is the proof that she CAN sing very well!

Anyway, it seems to bad for me that Tarja's dismissal had to happen thus, it could have been in a much more kind and decent way, I'll keep being a great fan of Tarja!

The diference between Nightwish with Anette and Nightwish with Tarja is that everything that you listened on the CD Tarja could sing it LIVE and Nightwish was one of the few bands that sounded better live than on CD. I miss those times when Nightwish didn't need a backup singer or playback to sing what the actual singer just can't.

Also, Nightwish use backing tracks live, with the London philharmonic orchestra and a choir and have done since Century Child. Listen to the intros of Planet Hell and Bless the Child, for example. That is not Tarja singing, it's a choir. Anette Can't sound like a choirboy any more than Tarja can sing in 3 part harmony.

this is such an amzing song , i get frikin goosebums by 80% of nightwish songs also many people debate this and i can safely say im in the minority that think anette is better (not at singing, i think they are both amazing in there own way) in the way that she fits in better with the band and the direction that they are heading genre wise which in my opinion is metal, tarja made the band seem opera and put them in a state where noone could place them in any certain genre.
