  • On your E string, bring your finger up to the 2nd fret, mid finger on the 3rd string second fret and third same.........See how you like it. I can't read music, but I learn by ear.  Takes a lont tim but, Very confident this can help.

  • try the Bar "G" chord first. its easier, and it will get you used to the finger position which is important. see rayred com for hundreds of free lessons.

  • Try playing the minimalist F chord instead of the full barre chord at first:
