  • good video, crap music

  • I think : only 50 Philips ... was built in NL

  • Great soundtrack - who plays that music??

  • @darkland20 "Concerto For Mandolin And Orchestra In C Major RV 425: Allegro" on: eMusic, iTunes

  • One burning kerosene and the other burning propane? Run one on HHO and then you'll have something! especially if the HHO is produced by batteries charged from solar panels. Still, your restoration was great.

  • nice job

  • nice job

  • i like this vivaldi concerto for mandoline!!!

  • Philips did a lot of research back in the 50s-60s into Stirling engines for power generation. This was their only commercial product, which runs on kerosene fuel and produces 180 watts of power for driving radio equipment. It has a very complex fuel system which atomizes the fuel and meters it into the burner- all powered by air. Philips never ventured further into Stirling engines, but instead applied the technology to something else- Stirling cryocoolers- considered the finest in the world.

  • Everthing is cool but.... why you void to start it ?

  • You have 2 of the things?

So your saying the roll cage is also the air tank for air starter?

  • @astrialkil

I don't believe it starts on air. It uses air to meter the fuel and atomize it, as well as to pressurize the engine itself. And yes the air is stored in the roll cage.

  • I hope we will see more like this appearing in answer to the fuel crisis. How much paraffin would it burn if it was generating the full 180W?

  • @mastergrass157 Hi, Approx .4 litre per hour.

Paraffin is very expensive these days :(

  • kurwa nie pokazane nawet jak odpala
