  • Do you caulk around the base of the toilet completely or leave the back uncaulked?

  • @eloctocs13 I, personally, don't caulk around the base of the toilet. Many people do, but if there is a problem with the seal and caulking is applied; it maybe sometime before it is detected and can ruin the plywood floor. If I were to caulk around it I would take your suggestion and leaving the back uncaulked just incase. Not a caulking fan myself is the best way to put it on a toilet.
