looking at the power of the engine its more powerful than the x6 5.0, whereas this car has around 500 bhp while the x6 has around 410 bhp.

can't wait to buy this car :)

I reckon you will get a year old one for good money, although LR say not many being made as most will be TDV8s and they think the new sport version in TDV6 3lt will sell well, so a supercharge will be a rare beast

Ps not everyone they make falls apart. Im optamistic on this! Anyway aftermarket warrenties are really good now. Trust me on this! lol

mine comes in Sept 2009 here in the Uk special build, you should be able to order in July / Aug or at least put a deposit on one now, US orders should be with you by end of Oct or start of Nov 2009. All LR vehicles are launched with a year code and it is usually for the year ahead, hence I presently drive a MY09 car bought in 2008!

I have thought about things all my life, I have worked hard all my life and hence I have a Range Rover as I thought about buying one and did. The world will never go anywhere if we keep giving our wealth to those who claim to be poor sitting on their fat asses watching flat screen TVs drinking kool aid, & claiming discrimination for something or other. Think hard about getting rid of social security? Riches may not come from hard work but hard work helps you get towards being rich?

Well the people who created the Range Rover didn't have a problem with loving what they do. You better hope they love what they do! Thats one fucking reason these cars are better than the American ones becuase people here work for money not for the company. You sir have just demonstrated you were hungry for money and worked for it. its better to have a passion, then you never have to work a day in your life. Passion, look sunshine you clearly read a self help book and think you know how to run the world, yet you elected Obama go figure. Well perhaps I have been harsh on you, but owning a recruitment company I see a lot of young people who want to be CEO before they can even blink in the world of work, my advice is passion is great, but with focus and dedication, hard work in the early days can be translated into sitting back and the business working for you later on, I was 17 beleive it or not some years back and we all start somewhere, the fact you are doing something and want to do it well bodes well, send your vid onto me?

My dealer and the LR senior managers at the Canary Wharf Motorexpo London tell me they are going through the initial builds of the RR, RRS and Discovery/LR4 during July and some of August, most of those will be demo cars for dealers and early orders where deposits were placed months ago, then the main roll out and build will be September onwards as the staff at the factory have a summer holiday period during August. UK/Europe customers should start getting cars Sept onwards, US Oct 2009

so whcih ford model does it really look like? If anything a ford might have some features from Land Rover as technology trickles down to them in the past, but not likely now? Its a super car, some of the best engineering in the world and the quality is much improved since Ford has been sent on their way, the next generation of LR products will be even better and I cannot wait for my 2010 SC to arrive and then see the new model details emerge for 2012. Superb

it looks like ford super cheif consept,the old version looked much better,but the new 5L engine is gonna be awsome,0-60mph in 5.9seconds is fast for an suv weighting this much

well the chaps at Solihull said they only changed the look at the front because the new engine needed additional cooling, I think they would have left the old grill and lamps at the front if they could and hence the new version is close to it as owner like me liked the 4.2sc and hence the changes have been subtle, I like it and within months it will be a hit. Not sure how the builds going, heard though that 250 Disco/LR4's built and ready to roll out.
