@ThunderKnightSilver2 On your view Water Pulse is super effective however it's only effective on a Ground/Dragon-type like Garchomp, however Garchomp's Earthquake is a pain killer. I dislike its' GIand DR more though. Her most annoying Pokemon are Spiritomb (took me three Pokemon to beat it since it stats rose to max. with Silver Wind) and Garchomp (took me two to beat it). My team for my first game (Empoleon, Bronzong, Lucario, Palkia (needed), Rapidash, and Roserade.)

Cynthia is the best champion(to me). All her pokemon are rare. In d/p there is only one way to get a milotic, lucario, SPIRITOMB, and gible. I spent DAYS trying to catch a feebas in diamond. In platinum she has a togekiss which is rare(correct me if im wrong cause i havent played platinum.) No other champion has Cynthia's style. Her theme should be better fitting to her.

@ylovShirona065 Steven managed to become Champion using a type theme, similarly to Lance. Steven used one pseudo-legend, whereas Lance used multiple. Cynthia used one pseudo-legend, but needed a variety of Pokemon to support it. Gary used no pseudo-legendaries, and still made players rage.

@ProfessionalManlyMan Honestly, GEN1 Gary has to be the easiest Champion of all time, sure his team has variety and was the same level range as Cynthia's, but this was a game where enemy Pokemon had atrocious AI and VERY bad movesets (His Rhydon had NO STAB moves for one thing), and could easily be swept by a solo trained starter which a lot of 1st time players did.

Cynthia by comparison is much harder, because of better AI, Stats, movesets, and game mechanics.

@AoBomberman In FR/LG the AI was improved, and since Gen3 the AI hasn't improved all that much. Valid argument, yes, but only considering 1st gen Gary. Overall, by 3rd gen people got more tactical with gaming, and having an opponent like Gary, with a more versatile team, versus Cynthia, which a single Gyarados can rape without much help from you, so the "challenge level" has to be measured differently.
