The controller as purchased had a couple of wires reversed, so I never did set it up to play the GH game, but I did set it up to play the "arpeggioxxor" instrument (Google "GHX controller instrument" !) very successfully. Shoot, maybe I should get back on this, dust it off, and make it work for a demo for the Internetz.

Excellent! Unfortunately, I can't play guitar.. juts know enough of it to feel the wrongness of the gaming controller.
