Putting ones head above the parapet also means exposing oneself to danger - e.g. flying arrows, stones, bullets or in this case hostile comments.

Dear Sir, I feel you have an interesting take on on media education--however, I'd warn you to not fall into the habit of delusional thinking regarding this seeming advance in the internet. It may seem a happy thing, but it is not the Panacea you seem to think it is. And loving to hear your own voice and see your own image. Hi Pete, great video! Can't wait for the next follow-up! I think you're discussion about university is relevant to many students that are currently applying or have been accepted into university! I personally have just finished my first year at university and i've had so many great times and made so many good friends!
