Seriously underrated game. Very atmospheric, great graphics. Infact, I enjoyed this more than Killzone 2.

Old School Gamer is talking crap escape from butcher bay had some of the best AI and depth in terms of combat and story and unless Dark Athena has strayed dramatically from the original I cant see how it would have changed.Also on the subject of a third person mode the idea is lame and would ruin the experience just to note a couple of stupid judgments

It's 19.99 for Butcher Bay and Dark Athena now, and the game looks almost like a Bioshock style game..but I'm not hearing that it's anywhere near as good from anybody. And even though I hear Butcher Bay is the best, I've never really been one to enjoy older games quite as much as everyone else is. It's not all about graphics for me (which are remastered anyways), but when something is dated it's easy for me to tell. I'll check the game out more...I need something new to play...

I don't agree at with this review at all! riddick is a great game! and if your are not mantely disabled it is easy to survive.... also i had always a 100& kill rate when attcking an enemy from behind ! seems like the guy who was playing here for the review never played any other videogames before !

this game was way more frustrating than i thought. its kinda to be expected when you are armed with a screwdriver and everyone else has guns. if you get spotted once, you will die, no fucking around. just look at 0:57 this guy loses all his health in seconds from their 100% accuracy. AND THIS IS JUST THE DAMN TOUTORIAL. this was way to unforgiving for a game based on trial and error and that seriously compromised the fun factor.

they didnt 'include' butcher bay. They specifically remade butcher bay because the xbox origional wouldnt run on the 360. Dark athena was just a nice bonus

I actually think that Dark Athena was more oriented towards the action, considering there isn't as many riot bots you have to fight as riddick and I had more fun playing the refined version of Butcher Bay, the game was never about the shooting and I just want to restate that they have connection with the movie, I rewatched Pitch Black the other day and it mentioned his escape from Butcher Bay, they also mention other escapes from other areas, it made me want to know how Riddick and Johns me too.

i understand y this would be said but the game imo was fantastic and the complaints like the distance between the char and what not was kinda lame also the shooting, u didnt mention the immersion the game does and no guiding is fantastic it makes the game challenging and u have to mine ur surroundings, and watch where you've been and what not, w/e. my opinion.

I know what your saying cause most of the time the movie games aren't good, but I played a little of Butcher Bay and liked it. This doesn't seem too different from the 1st game and you're getting 2 games in 1 so I would buy this, and I don't have the 1st game so it's a no brainer for me. I liked Pitch Black and even Chronicles of Riddick, but if they make another then I hope it turns out good.

The Bourne Identity PS3 game looks pretty damn good. Yeah most movie games do suck. 007 Quantum of Solice is really good too. I cannot think of another good movie video game.

No, actually they don't. They all are stories involving Riddick's life however the guys at development even say they have no difinitive connection. And he's not that powerful aside from his Vin-Dieselness and being able to see in the dark. A cool concept with a mediocre game.
