@TheAlemaster1234 Rockstar confirmed it was Vic who died in the intro of VC. The thing is when they made VC, Rockstar was far from thinking that Vic would be a gta protagonist! They made him look and sound so different in VCS to make him more badass, but you can see in the beta screens of VCS that they tried to make him look like the Vic from VC.

i dnt know if some of you knew but Diaz Killed Vic At the beginning of GTA Vice City when Tommy went to buy the drugs For Sonny Diaz sent a Hit Squad to take both the money and drugs and I think he killed Vic because He didnt want to work for him.
