gnus' dont have edges on tip and tail, does it make a board vulnerable to tail blocks and stuff like this? better not to do that?
PS:
someone rode across my tip yesterday and it already split up a bit(like 2cm in wide and 3cm in lengh), doesnt matter actually, coz its plastic there - some glue will fix it in seconds, but still not veryy happy bout it.
also im like 5'2'' imma probally be bigger next year but just for reference im 106 lbs. could i ride a 147? or how tall would i have to be to ride a 147?
i'm stuck between the gnu park pickle, and the capita indoor survival for what board to get. i ride a mix of park and powder booters. what board do you think would be best
I thinking of buying one.. i think it's time for a new board..Im looking for a board that will shred the jumps n jibs but can still ride the groomers fast.. would this be a good board for me? and what size would you guys say? im 5'7" and 140 lbs.. i ride a 156 now..thinkin about a 154
I just recieved this board in the mail. i got the 155 and it came with a green base. it looks sweet! although you can't really tell that the heel edge is deeper by looking at it, im sure you can feel it while riding. cant wait to try it out!!
The board is made equally for goofy and regular footed riders.
There is a defined toe edge and heal edge to the snowboard.
If you folded the board in half bringing the tip and tail together, you would see that the board is symmetrical as in set up equally for traveling with the right end of the board traveling forward as for the left end.
If you take the board and fold it down the center, bring the toe and heal edge together, you could see that the board in this way is asymmetrical.
The asymmetrical twin construction allows the board to be set up and ridden by both goofy and regular riders.
The asymmetry compensates the asymmetrical design of the rider. The body does not work the toe edge the same as it works the heal edge. So the sidecut for the toe edge is a larger radius than that of the heal edge.
Check it out if you are regular, goofy, switch, upside down or inside out this board will work for you!
I think the park pickle is better as an all around board compared to the skate banana
Mr3ggy 3 months ago
Hey Im gonna get either this or the Capita Ultrafear Fk for next season. I ride 75% jibs 25% medium jumps what should i get?
acownz2 9 months ago

is the park pickle and the skate banana the same board just from different companies?
furrybeans 1 year ago
@furrybeans - Same company, Pickle has a tighter side cut on the heel side edge. Known as a asymmetrical design.

got a street series
t0rq21 1 year ago
@t0rq21 - The GNU and Libs are not prone to splitting even though they lack the edge on tip and tail. So durability is fine.
Make sure to use Epoxy not glue when repairing your board. This will keep the water out, which is very important.

@shortyblue7 - A lot of it is also tied to your weight. You should be okay with a 147.

is it as good as the dominant, or gnu street series on rails and boxes? catchfree?
but still a better freeride/backcountry board?
t0rq21 1 year ago
It is good on rails and boxes. Seem to be very catch free.
I would say the Banana Tech and board construction makes it a better all mountain board than the Dom and Street Series.

Did anyone notice that these arent actually reviews?
Skoojoo 1 year ago
These are actually product run downs to give people a short review of what they can expect from the boards in ways of performance.
They are not a full demo review of the product, correct.
sierrasnowboard 1 year ago
So a different meaning by "review" i guess that is legitimate and acceptable

im looking into getting this board is it soft and good for handrails ?
crackerjackjoe81 2 years ago
It is soft and pretty good on handrails.
If you are looking for a rail specific board you may want to get a Jib Rocker board.
sierrasnowboard 2 years ago
so is this like a banana board?
whyeat 2 years ago
kinda... some people say the flex is around the same but this board has more flex. one main difference is the heel edge
boudreau146 2 years ago
Almost the same except for the asymmetric design.
