I must also note that this video addresses devastating "global warming" which led to a global ice age however this was during a time long before human action could have caused such an effect, I would consider this to be a natural effect and human action completely incapable of preventing it.

We are currently in an ice age. "There have been at least four major ice ages in the Earth's past. Outside these periods, the Earth seems to have been ice-free even in high latitudes."

Extinction is natural, human output of CO2 is not a bad thing, indeed other outputs are bad, however CO2 is more beneficial to the environment than bad.

Satellite observation of the effect on the radiation of earth with an increase in CO2 showed that CO2 had a miniscule effect on temperature, human intervention after 100 years would prevent 0.11 deg C increase.

The benefits of more CO2 are that plants can grow more easily, and produce better food.
