On the 2003 Saturn Ion door. The outside key hole. The plastic that attaches to the rod on the key cylinder broke. So, I read on other computer sites, this is the way to get to the key cylinder, is to take off the outside panel as you did. Do you know if you have worked on a problem like this. I was going to use J B Weld fast setting metal glue on the plastic. I know J B Weld hold a mirror that was broken to pieces on a Saturn SL outside mirror housing. It is still holding 10 yr. now.
are the mounting ears the plastic piece that the screw hole slides into. because the plastic broke and there is no where for the screw hole to attach itself.
Hi Richpin, Thank you so much. This video did me wonders for fixing my power window regulators. Instead of buying 2 new ones @ 100 bucks + I was able to bend them a bit to keep them in the track. I then lubed them with Vaseline and they work great. Just one problem though. I broke off some of the plastic that the housing slides on to the plastic ports for those T30 bolts. Do have any ideas on what I should do to fix them or should I just try to get new outer door panels ?
What works best to re-attach the weatherproofing plastic behind both the inner and outer door panels? I have seen plenty of different spray adhesives at Autozone, but I am afraid the plastic will rip if or when I have to remove the plastic again in the future.
I was looking at this video to see if it may help me remove a power window motor on the drivers door. I removed the inner panel but the motor won't budge after loosening it's three slot bolts....Do you have a video about that somewhere??
I don't suppose you have a similar video for a 2003 Saturn Vue? The auto lock/unlock has stopped working on front passenger door so I want to check it out.

@dulcelake I do think J B Weld is not a good fix for this job i would go to the junk yard and get one for free.

Niiiiiceeeee. This will make painted those black panels 100% easier that masking/taping everything.
