What an absolute piece of crap this book is. It's so bogus, made worse by the reviews from other authors from Putnam calling it "great" & "immortal".
The scenes in London(especially when Frankie has a 'knee-trembler') are so poorly researched, as was Blake's use of a recorder that hadn't been invented yet(and actually justifying that use). How about when she talks about the ease of catching a train from London into Germany? Is she kidding?
The only good passages were when Frankie was in Europe
