Iv'e seen this movie and read the book and they are very interesting... But you have to have read the book before hand or else you will get lost while watching the movie. Even Dick Cheney comes out!

Actually, it's a satire on modern day life in the city being like living in Hell with all of the differant misfortunes in society acting as the stages of inferno. If anything it's very much like the poem

It's a modern interpretation. Definitely not word for word, but is supposed to stand for itself. I'd recommend it if you enjoyed the inferno.
