  • Awesome!! Is the whole thing on Youtube?

  • Thanks, Sean for attending the Dante symposium! Unfortunately I couldn't make it through the entire movie but it was great. I love the incorporation of wit and shock value especially in a contemporary Los Angeles.

  • Strom Thurmon = Master Shake

  • the guy in the robe looks like mel gibson. XD

  • Does anyone know that Beakman directed this!?!?

  • @xxxTrossxxx YESSSSS !!!

  • lol nice

  • Well I'm guessing won't have Virgil reciting poetry or Dante going through Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise

    like in the original story,

but damn this looks like fun and well worth a rental IMHO,

LOL "This is Hell Dante, not your personal fantasy"

  • Iv'e seen this movie and read the book and they are very interesting... But you have to have read the book before hand or else you will get lost while watching the movie. Even Dick Cheney comes out!

  • I know...he's in Lake Cocytus. Right where he should be....no offense, if anyone voted for him here or not. Just my personal 2 cents.

  • 1:26 that is my x-dictator... in romania... Ceausescu... google it... :)

  • Based on the book by Marcus Sanders.

  • well, that book must be based on the book by Dante Alighieri, search the divine comedy... dates back to the 1400s, sorry bud, but that sounds like it is before a guy with the name markus sanders :)

  • brilliant animation

  • "I'm not Mrs. Buttersworth, damnit!"

lol... is that the punishment of thieves? =|

  • hmm it seems that it has very little to do with the poem apart from a few images.

  • Actually, it's a satire on modern day life in the city being like living in Hell with all of the differant misfortunes in society acting as the stages of inferno. If anything it's very much like the poem

  • I would have to agree with motormanjc, one of the better idea films I've seen in a long time.

  • It's a modern interpretation. Definitely not word for word, but is supposed to stand for itself. I'd recommend it if you enjoyed the inferno.

  • wow (nothing more to say)

  • I loved this movie. Anybody who can see this, do so.

  • I loved this movie. Anybody who can see this, do so.

  • I also saw it on Ovation. I was impressed with it and told some of my friends... It really is worth a look at. Even if it is just to get you thinking.

  • I saw this movie on Ovation. (artsy fartsy tv Chanel) and I really enjoyed it. I suggest watching it.

  • Strange but interesting.
