It would have been interesting if the Knicks had kept Bernard King to play alongside Ewing. Especially since he got back to All Star status by 91' with the Bullets. Does anyone know how many games he actually played alongside Ewing? I'm pretty sure he was injured for part of the 87' season..
Thanks fatal- never get tired of seeing Bird play because nobody could do all the things he did on the court. His court vision and feel for the game is unreal. He could dominate the game and still blend in with all of his teammates, which is the truly great mark of a one of a kind player. He really did make his teammates better.
I think its safe to say that if Bird had Lebron's athleticism he would average 50 25 and 25 for ten years and winning ten championships before quitting basketball from boredom.
3:20 Seriously? he took a rocket DJ pass and volleyball set it into the basket while getting an and one. I've never seen LBJ do a play that sick and this play isn't even on Bird's highlight reel.
