  • This Hancock says BRING IT! You do know that movie was about me right?

  • do u sell green adacondas

  • ye tha 50 foot prehistoric snake was a ton

  • ya know the was once a prehistoric snack caled megaboa 50-60 ft long

  • Jesse I'd go with a carpet python or a Burm but that's just me I always wanted a Burm

  • i am thinking of getting another snake, but there are soooooo many to choose from, which would be the best snake that gets 6 feet or more? :)

  • got a show idea for ya how to get a non striking snack to strike feed as my male het boa wont strike feed never has he verry shy wen it comes to feeding wont feed if he nnow's h is been watched lol

  • i am planing on taking my hides out of my boas viv as he geting to big for 1 now he is just over 6 feet but he has had 1 all his life as far as i no and litroly never comes out of it will see him out like 2 or 3 times a month unles i handaling him oveasly and was wondering taking away his hid after all this time will he be ok atitued/stress out up set him or what ever

  • @hammertales They naturally eat fish and frogs, but you can probably switch him over to frozen mice.

  • RIP Fluffy

  • Wow...I'm watching some of the old episodes...I guess it says a lot about my snake knowledge/experience when I don't think of a 6 foot long snake as being a big snake...

  • why are you keeping snakes in file cabinets?

  • @reason162 snakes like tight crammed spaces. as a breeder, it's more efficient as and easier for them to clean and house a large collection properly (and the snakes do very well in those areas...which are bigger than you might think from the camera angle) than it would be to clean a very large zoo like display.

  • will you PLEASE do a epasode about corn snakes? i have 1 and i wanna learn more about them.thanks

  • i love burms my cuzin's boyfriend got 2 of em at the reptile show i went to yesterday, the female is a one-eyed red albino and the male is a head albino and they are still babies, i cant wait until he breeds them when they are bigger cuz i cant wait to see the morphs!!!!!!

  • does every snake bite its prey and then raps around it?

  • If you count extinct snakes, there was a 50 feet or so boa, called titanoboa. That was a LOOOONG time ago. Like in the age of the dinosaurs.

  • i love you guys

  • @hammertales They have several names such as: Garden Snake, Gutter Snake, Ribbon Snake and most commonly "Garter Snake" and feed frozen/thawed if it will eat them :)

  • can you do a show about rock pythons

  • what is an easy way to make any incubator for just one clutch?

  • where r u located

  • i have seen fluffy. freaking huge.

  • that bob clark guy that owns fluffy or raised fluffy or whatever was the first guy to own an albino burm, and the first guy to breed albino balls, just some cool pointless kinda info for ya lol

  • i have seen baby what an awsome snake but it passed away like a year or 2 but they still have some realy big snakes there though even an anaconda they even said i could work there

  • Are there any extra fees for shipping ball pythons to Canada?

    Please respond.

  • can yall make a vid on how to use/ make an incubatter. thanks

  • i was gonna ask them the same thing. maybe some egg care too.

  • on fact or fiction you failed to say something snakes grow untile they die they dont stop they mentioned that in the movie if there was long jevite for snakes they would actually get that big

  • Do you guys breed carpets? would love a jag like that!!!

  • I know of Baby!

  • great

  • do teh carpet python males get bigger thene females or is it the other way round

  • Normally the females get bigger. THanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • yeah i saw that it's acctually 49ft but still he's huge get's fed 5 dogs a month

  • I know of that snake, when national geographic went there to measure it, the snake was only 22 foot. Huge, but not 50 foot. Leave it to animal planet to be accurate:) Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • I know this is an older episode, but there was a retic on an animal planet show called weird true and freaky that was just about 50ft long and 968lbs :) it was in Indonesia ;)

  • I know of that snake, when national geographic went there to measure it, the snake was only 22 foot. Huge, but not 50 foot. Leave it to animal planet to be accurate:) Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • hey brian, im marco from philippines and i got here a philippine reticulated python, can you teach me how can i take good care of it?? thanks ^^

  • dont it dangerius

  • How do you know right away if its male or female? Do you have signs on each Snake tub?And how much eggs would you say hatch daily?

    (Matt,ColdBlooded97)

  • During the busy hatch season we'll hatch up to 1000 snakes per day. We do mark the males as well as I can tell just by looking. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • brian to make it clear for everyone and maybe they will believe u...is it 25% per clutch or per egg

  • 25% per egg. So the odds don't go up if you hatch 7 out of eight aggs and the no albinos. The eigth egg still has a 25% chance of being an albino. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv_

  • whats the smallest cage a boa be kept in

  • so if u breed the 100%het to 100%het u will get some albinos..just to cover that for u bro haha..thats why in breeding u should mess around with buyin a 66% het cuz then ur not garunteed albinos or whatever its het for....and het is short for heterozygous

  • Yep that what it's short for:) And 25% albinos from het to het. Seems like you have it down pretty good:) Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • i recently picked up a columbian red tail boa %100HET for albino, was wondering what HET for albino means ?

  • It means it's normal looking but carries the gene for albino. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • hey, you guys should make a show on small snakes like garters, corn-snakes. that would be the best!

  • I'll see what I can do about that. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • They are cool animals! Brian(Sbtv)

  • Hey i've been looking at breeding columbian boa constrictors and i was going to use the plastic shelves like you use rather than a glass aquarium and websites say i need to have a 6ft long by 4ft wide container for each, do i really need one that big?

  • Just happy I could help:) Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Most snakes really prefer to stay hiding most of the time. So it's really not unusual. it'll come out to shed and to feed and get water. Feel free to take it out anytime and handle it. Other then that it's just part of keeping snakes. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • WTF!?!?! BOB CLRAK SOLD FLUFFY TO A ZOO? wasent fluffy like his trade mark retic?

  • yeah, he sold it to the Columbus zoo. Not sure why?? Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • so when your like incubating the eggs like get a spray bottel and mist it on the eggs???-sam

  • Hey brian,

Do you know what line that jaguar carpet came from? It

    looks awesome.

  • whats the biggest snakes you ever had before

  • Man i need some type of reptile they are absolutely awesome creatures.

  • No we keep them in the colubrid room all the time. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • hey i just wanna say u guys are awsome and the larget snake in the world is in south amarica and a 45 foot reticulated python

  • Thanks for liking the show. That snakes ending up measuring out at just over 20 foot. It was a false story. Thanks again, Brian(Sbtv)

  • so it was on untamed and uncut so on natinal tv they lied wata rip off

  • It was on Nathional Geographic. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • You can let them incubate their own eggs, we just did it with one clucth for the first time here and they just hatched great. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • there actually recently was a snake caught in asia somewhere that was 46 feet and is now in a zoo. CNN even reported it and you can find the newsclips on youtube

  • When National Geographic sent a film crew to film it the snake measured out at 21 feet and under 300 pounds. Still a big snake, but nowhere near what tey said it was. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • oh i didn't here about that part

  • Most people haven't heard that:)

  • i did ;)

  • i did my research and i saw there was a new biggest snake it was a reticulated python 46 feet and 900 and something pounds do you think its true?

  • i seen that snake as well.

  • No, it turned out to be only 21 feet long. A big snake, but way smaller then they said it was. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • hey Brian i was wondering how can u tell what percent the heterozygous is

  • The only way to tell is by what the parents were. If one of the parents was the mutation then it would 100% if one of the parents were a het to a normal then it's 50% and if both where hets then it's 66%. Hope this helps, Brian(Sbtv)

  • brian, do u have a dark lavender retic python aswell ??

  • Yeah, we do work with them as well. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • ive actully seen "baby", like when i was 11.

  • That was one big snake wasn't it:) Thanks,Brian(Sbtv)

  • Weres will smith?! lol sweet vid brian!

  • what sanke was at 2:34?

  • That's a lavender albino retic. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • How much do you sell your sunglow boa constrictor?

  • They go for between $600-$800. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Hey brian how big do burmese get?

  • Burms can get about 20 feet long if feed a lot. Thanks, Brian(SBtv)

  • Hey i have a 6 foot albino burmese right now i was wondering if you have anyone that you recomend me buying form for another abot 6 foot male burmese? And if you have any large burms i might be intrested in those to if your selling?

  • I think we have a couple Albino Granites and Granites that are that size. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • have you ever had a big snake eacape?

  • When I was 17 and living in my Moms basement I have a 18 foot Burmese Python get out:) We found it pretty easy:) Thanks, Brian(SBtv)

  • It's great to see some quality, snake-promoting clips on the internet. Wish I lived overseas (I'm in Australia), I'm so jealous of those burmese pythons...

  • Thanks, I'm glad you like the show! You guys have some pretty nice stuff there that we are jealous of too:) Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Hey Brian great videos! Do you recommend a columbian boa for a ball python person?

  • I think that if you want to go to a bigger snake that Boas are a great choice. The care is about the same and they make great pets. Hope this helps, Brian(SBtv)

  • Thanks for watching the show! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • I really don't mess with imports. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • I really like how brian and his crew show and talk about the hobby, snakebytes is a awsome information source,I have been out of the hobby for about 10yrs,watching brain makes me wanna go get a a few retic's and breed them.

  • Cool! I love when our passion wears off on people:) I can't thank you enough for watching the show! Now go get some Retics.lol Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Hard to say, but I really like our Albino Retics! Thanks, Brian(SnakeBYtesTV)

  • About what you said i watched a video about a python that was 49 feet long and 985 pounds and thats almost 50 feet its called largest python ever discovered in indonesia

  • I know about that animal, when National Geoghraphic went to measure it, it turned out to be only just over 20 foot. Still a huge snake, but not 49 foot:) Thanks, Brian(SnakeBYtesTV)

  • On the next show I would like you to answer this question: Have you ever been constricted by one of your burmese or other large snake?

  • I've never been in a position that I consider a constriction. If you know what you're doing it never really gets to that stage. Thanks, Brian(SnakebYtesTV)

  • A lot of times with Ball Pythons, if you sneak up on them from behind they'll shy away. It doesn't work with all snake though. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • dude, your awesome!your kinda like an american version of Steve Irwin,im pretty sure you could become legendary like him.

  • Thanks!! Those are some BIG shoes to fill! I can only hope to be an ant on his mountain. I really appreciate the compliment! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • i read that the biggest snake ever captured was 44ft long and weighed 990

  • That was a hoax, when they sent a crew from National Geograpic there, it turned out to be 22 feet long. Still a big snake, but nowhere near 40 plus. Thanks, Brian(SnakebYtesTV)

  • i have a few questions (cover this in a vid)

1.when it turns yellow does it mean its a infertile egg? or does it mean its about to hatch?

2.my female beirded dragon is breeding with my male but my male is alot older then her is that bad?

3.another ? about my female bierded dragon my female breeds with my male(ovisiously) well her first clutch was a really good clutch but as the clutches went on through the breeding season it got worse is she egg bound? or wat?

  • Normally when an egg turns yellow it means it's going bad. It's not a problem for an older male bearded to breed a younger one as long as they are about the same size. I wouldn't think she's egg bound, just the fertility of the males sperm went down, not that uncommon at all. Hope this helped, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • i dunna about that on, there was a plane flying over some forighin plain that was miles wide and all swamp and they caught a photo of a FORTYFIVE!!! footer, i dont know if its for real, could be though!?!

  • It'd be interesteing if that was a true story??? Thanks for watching! Brian(SnakebytesTV)

  • I have a very big question about ball pythons. I have a neighbor who has two ball pythons. He didn't realize that they had mated and had eggs. They've always lived in the same terrarium together, even before they mated and such. I got to see them while the female was incubating and the male was right next to the female while she was wrapped around the eggs. She didn't seem very bothered by it. Can females do that?

(And I saw Fluffy once. She's very pretty)

  • A lot of people used to use maternal incubation as their primary way of incubating python eggs. Most people now artificailly incubate. It's always best to have the male out of the cage, but I've heard of people that haven't had a problem with having them together. Thanks for the comments! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • you and your crew have some beautiful snakes :)

  • Thanks so much, we apreciate you watching! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • say i wanted to breed ball pythons, couldnt i just let the mother incubate the clutch herself?

  • Sure I know people that use maternal incubation. I like to take them away so the female feeds during incubation so there's a better chance of her breeding the following year. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • I agree with you 100%! Now 20 footers are a different situation.lol Talk soon, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • I'm sure there were animals like that way in that past, maybe even the not too distant past, but not anymore:) Thanks, BRian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Very very nice Snakes!!

  • Thanks! We apprecaite you watching! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • very off topic but the only reason the snakes in anaconda got that big is because anacondas grow their whole lives, until they die, and in the movie they were suposedly eating a flower that let them basically live forever, so they never stopped growing...i think it could be entirely plausible, if it is true they don't stop growing...and if they found a flower of eternal life lol. its really is an interesting concept, but heres a question for you: is it true they don't stop growing till they die?

  • Interesting story, I hadn't seen the movie. It's true that all snakes don't stop growing until they die, so yes if they find a majic flower they would be huge.lol Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • lol cool. i had only ever heard it was anacondas that dont stop growin thanks!

  • I heard that it had died, but that's a bad story about what happened to her:( She deserved better then that?? Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • hey brian i have a question i just got my red tail boa and i am trying to get it to eat but still refuse any tips that you can give me thx i just subed

  • Thanks for the sub!!! How big is your Boa?? Is it captive bred?? And the place you got it from say it was feeding and on what?? Sorry fore the questions, it's just hard to help without as much info as possible. You can message me if you want and I'm sure I can help. Thanks again! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • why did the title say will smith ''hancock''??

  • It was just a play on words, "Hancock" is Will Smiths new movie where he has super powers. That's pretty much it:) Brian(SnakeBYtesTV)

  • Hey Brian thanks for another awsome video! Hey i saw a video on youtube about a 49 foot retic in Indonesia have you seen this yet?? They have it in captivity. Maybe they measured it wrong. Check it out let me know! Thanks, Steve

  • Yeah, when National Geogrphic went to measure it the snake was only 21 foot. Still a huge snake, but far freom 49 foot:) Thanks for watching! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • very interesting i have just subbed!

  • Thanks for the sub!! I hope you'll enjoy the show! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Thanks!!!! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • It is safe, but you might want to use a sealent of some kind?? Just wood can absord all the bad bacteria and it also will smell really bad no matter how clean you keep it. You might want to look into Vission cages, they are plastic and not too expensive. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • We do sell Carpets, I'll have them up on my site in the next week or so, bhbreptiles (.com) Thanks for the support! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Kel, it's spelled I-N-D-O-N-E-S-I-A. just playing.

Cool vid. See you all in Anaheim!

  • Haha!!!! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Green racers can feed on mice or some will feed on bugs. Depends on the animal and the range that they're from. Cool looking snake! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Really cool video AGAIN!! Keep them coming Brian. Hows about a Ball/Royal Python segment?

Looking forward to the next one.

  • Thanks for the support. I'll be doing a lot of Ball Python stuff as they sdtart to hatch. We should have some really cool "new" morphs this year! Brian(SnakeBYtesTV)

  • Nice video!!!! I want to see more Ball Pythons Brian you are my hero!!!

  • I'll make sure there's a lot of Ball Python footage as babies are hatching this year! Thanks for the support! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • aww i missed the faction. lol. but seriously there is a reptile park in gurnee ill??

  • We'll do another faction in the future I'm sure:) Yea, Serpent Safari Park is in a mall type area in Gurnee. Google it and you'll find the location. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Hey where did u get that shirt that says "with passion meets obsession"?? Do u make them or what? I want one lol.

  • Yea, those are one of our BHB shirts. I'll have a bunch of that stuff for sale on the bhbreptiles and the SnakeBytesTv site. I'll have them up within a couple of weeks if you're interested. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • hey Brian nice vide once again, i wanted to ask how heavy are the rabbits u give to ur burmese and if u feed him weekly? cuz i used to feed mine weekly 6 pound rabbits and she just got long but not fat? So i guees my question is what can i do to get my albino burmese fat

  • We will feed them 4 to 6 pound rabbits, but if you feed them two a week you'll put a lot of bulk on them. Give that a try! Thanks, Brian(SnakeBYtesTV)

  • Another great video Brian, keep it up!

  • Thanks for the support! We'll keep em up as long as everyone wants to watch:) Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Great job on all the videos. Always informative and entertaining. Thanks for sharing!!!

  • whats up bro. iyour videos are amazing. i just bought a ball python tuesday. he eats good. just fed em today. i always catch snakes in the wild but this ismy first pet snake. anything i should look out for man? thanks.

  • Not really, Ball Pythons are great pets and are really easy to care for. if you ever have any questions just let me know! Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • I can't keep snakes now and will probably start with ball pythons, but I had someone say constrictors were ok for "beginners". Is this true?

  • A Ball Python is a great starter, as a matter a fact next week we're doing a show that is on what we think make the best pets, so make sure to tune in:) Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Yet again nice video as always =)

Oh and by the way what song did u use for the feeding?

  • Thanks for watching! I get asked about that song all the time and I always forget what it is?? I'll get back to you on that one:) Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Great vid, love the first snake you showed.

  • Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • What you have to realize is that snakes live in very tight areas in the wild. Most of the types of snakes we keep would smash theirselves into tight holes one third the size of the enclosures that we keep them in. They would only move to get water, food and to mate. We give them all those things here. I would never do anything that was not humane for these animals. I spend my life caring for them and doing our best. I hope you see our point. Thanks for caring! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • 25 ft reticulated python called...FLUFFY

    har har har!!

  • Haha, I know what a cool name, right:) brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • What's the worst you've gotten injured by a snake?

What do you feed the really big snakes, is it just rabbits or anything else?-like baby pigs?

I'm reminded of my old biology teacher that told us he never saw the person holding the big snakes get bitten, but the other people standing around poking at it where the ones the snake would strike at.

  • I've taken some pretty good bites over the years, but I never really got injured too much from them. I'm sure dog trainers have it a lot worst.

Just frozen thawed rabbits for our big snakes, never tried anything else.

I guess your teacher could be right?? You have to be careful messing around with anything that has that type of power. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • That albino reticulated python is a beauty. Wish I had room for one of those.

  • They truly are living art at it's best!! Thanks for watching! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Great pet snakes:

    Ball pythons

    Corns

    Kings

    Boas

There, I did the video for you. :)

    Great video guys.

  • If it were only so easy:) You have the list about right. lol Brian(SnakeBytesTV)
