i don't know how they are going to make a gears of war 3 since after Jacinto is sunk and kills nearly all of the locust they go to an abandoned COG navy outpost island. The only real threat on the island is the stranded. There is one thing that Marcus said though, the flooding of the locust tunnels wouldn't have drown all of the locust sealife and since they live on a big island now that could be a problem. One of the fisherman caught an Eel that looked locust and cole freaked out also.
