@xdustydogx Sorry you have not figured out the difference between "to" and "too." But that is okay, I wouldn't expect any more for a person who seriously believes that the Navy/Marine Corps is not as important in the fight against terror as the Army.
@dwillpirate Well played sir, a sorry attempt so slant my intelligence by pointing out one grammatical error. Bravo!!! Real quality right there. First off this isn't about the Marines, this is about the Navy so again good job comprehending the basics of reading and understanding text. Secondly please tell me the dramatic roll the Navy is having in either OEF or OIF now OND??? Just give me a rough estimate of how many Navy personnel are currently in theater.
@xdustydogx HAHAHAHAHA. Your ignorance again prevails!
1st, (...sorry attempt "to" slant...) I believe that is what you meant.
2nd, the United States Naval Academy commissions 250+ Marine Corps Officers per year, many of whom play on the football teams. So, yes, it is about the Marines. (Basics)
3rd, Remember that whole "Shock and Awe" thing? NAVY/MARINE CORPS. Tomahawk missiles and air strikes, followed by Marines..
Pretty sure the Army is pretty happy when they get an Air Strike from us.
@1010101SOS haha, what do you know? I hadn't seen that video before I made mine, but I like it. Apparently it is a good idea. Unfortunately youtube pulled my audio because I "Be Happy" playing in the background, and unfortunately it is not an approved track. The video from 99 was cool though. I promise, no rip off, just coincidence.
its funny how everyone is running there mouths about how army is gonna :run all over navy" and blah blah blah!!!! it has been since at least 2002 that army has beaten navy at anything especially football!!! so take that to thought before you start talking a whole bunch of crap!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
o yes the navy...they'r the best when it comes to deploying the real soldiers from the army to actualy fight...i heard the navy also organises karaoke nights in the carriers...realy brave "fighting" men...
Wow... some pretty fiery arguments on this video. The truth is... neither Army nor Navy is really that good... Navy just sucks less than Army. Before you flame on me, consider that this is coming from a mid.
i hate to say it middy but, after all i was in the navy and not school, you have a point. The military sucks to be in but there are sometimes that are fun. and the navy wasn't the worst place i could have gone we could have been in the coast guard!!
I think you show your true ignorance by writing stuff like that on my message board.
First of all, the new Coach's name is Rich Ellerson.
Second of all, do you know anything about him? His overall record is (slightly) less than .600 and never accomplished a whole lot at Cal Poly. You should do some research first. Awesome? Not quite!
As far as Stan Brock goes, if you call a 6-18 record over two years, losing to 1-AA teams great, yeah, I suppose he was. You have shown your ignorance.
Unno what, all you USNA fans just be quiet, cause Army got a new coach [Much better then Ken Nuiemaoloto (or whatever his name is)] and we'll totally beat you cause we got the option down pat this year, and we'll stop your little itsy bitsy running with your like Hawaiian dude at QB or w/e
I dont think you understand how this works. You cant just say because you got a new coach (because your old one sucked) that you are going to have a good team next year. I would at least wait until you guys win a few games. I seem to remember that Hawaiian dude running an offense that ran all over you this year. However, he was a senior, so you wont get to see him next year. We do have a great quarter back for next year though. Look for him, his name is Ricky Dobbs. You'll hear it next year.
So awesome he got fired! Is that how you measure success around there? Nice!
Anyway, he instituted the option offense. That was started under his (brief) tenure.
I seem to remember a promise he made to all of the cadets during the '07 season, something about Army beating Navy. Needless to say, he was not a man of his word.
Actually, Kaipo didnt have that many rush attempts against you guys. He handed it off to Kettani and pitched it to White a lot more. They ran all over your "defense."
Hey, unno what Ewell or w/e the new coaches name is will help us beat you guys this year [finally]. Brock was a great coach but the new one we got is awesome!
Your an idiot, along with the rest of your blind friends. At least wait until Army does something mediocre before you start talking crap. Getting smoked 34-0 in one of the biggest televised of the year is nothing to be proud of. Just keep drinking that kool aid and dreaming about the day that Army pretends to give Navy a good game...
So, I suppose I am supposed to be crying right now after Navy DOMINATED Army 34-0? You should probably go back to your room and lay down in your bed and go to sleep so you can dream about Army beating Navy again sometime in the near future, because it isn't going to happen in reality...
Who has no authority on the field. I dont think you get to talk smack anymore when your team gets dominated 34-0. Pretty pathetic showing by Army if you ask me.
First, because of Notre Dame's recruiting power, any team that beats them has accomplished something, regardless of their record. Second, yes you did get dominated by Wake Forest (they doubled your score). Third, Delaware was the Division II Championship runner up. Fourth, we DOMINATED Army 38-3 for the fifth Midshipman win in as many years. Why dont you do some homework next time before you write trash on my board. By the way, when was the last time Army went to a bowl game?
Your right, the Navy wasnt the first to respond after 9/11 with Carriers to the Gulf, and the Navy didnt form a majority of the "Shock and Awe" campaign with Air Strikes from F/A-18s and Tomahawks from Cruisers, Destroyers and Submarines. The Navy doesnt support the Army and Marine Corps with Electronics Warfare support, jamming remotely detonated IED's with over 14,000 Navy Sailors on the ground, not to mention the continuous air support missions off of carriers
plus the 6,000+ per carrier, not to mention the large number of destroyers, cruisers, frigates, submarines and support ships currently circling the globe.
Do yourself a favor a do a little research. First, find out how many Navy SEALS have EARNED the Medal of Honor posthumously out of the number that have given their life in combat. Then tell me how many Marines have died in combat, being that a large portion of Marine Corps officers come from the Naval Academy. I can name multiple Naval Academy graduates who have lost their lives or limbs in combat. Once you do that, I will give you permission to post on my video again.

What was the score last year? 38-3?
When was the last time Army won? 2001?
What is Navy's record? 7-4 with 2 losses to top 25 teams and 1 win over a top 25 team?
What is Army's record? 3-8 with a loss to a DIV II team?
Last time Army went to a bowl game? 1996?
Last time Army won a bowl game? 1985?
Last time Navy went to a bowl game? Ohh, this year is our sixth in a row...
Yeah, we see how silly you are!
