  • Looks like Chuck is using some sort of string damper. I use Van Eps dampers and really like them. Cuts down a lot of overtones and string ring. I've got a string damper I use on other guitars that I made and works very well. Mostly just wood, felt, and elastic. The peghead on Chuck's guitar looks like it has a Fender logo, but it's supposedly a Benedetto. Does anyone have a picture of just the damper Chuck is using?
