Actually, the screeching was in key. I think that if a famous "accomplished" singer screeched like this, it would just be considered part of the interpretation (it wasn't very polished but it worked - it's a rock song, after all). I was very disappointed with the judges, especially David's comments. Ridiculous. She nailed the song. I love this song, but I can never find a version I can particularly groove to, except this one. Bianca really needs to release another CD soon, and THIS song should be on it

Fantastic! Bianca blew me away. I love Janis Joplin since I was very young. In 1968 "Piece of my heart" was declared one of Janis Joplin ´s finest songs with her first band that was Big Brother & the Holding Company.

She should have practiced the screaming more. She couldn't go from the deep vocals to the screams. It wasn't the song, it was how she sang it. I love her music. I think she is great. But Janis Joplin songs require a lot of training and practice. Nevertheless, massive potential is there.

The judges were SO wrong in criticizing the song choice. It showed Bianca wasn't limited to one style -- and her vocals were even better (for this style) than they wre for "And I Am Telling You." no I really don't think Janis would have been amused. this kid is not that great. like a lot of kid perfomers (please note Britney Spears as a child) she over sings and belts out every tune because her voice has not matured. she also tries very hard to imitate the orginal artist - and falls flat! i would rather listen to a cat in heat than this exhausting meowing.
