@dedon97 everyone from the same country doesn't talk the same way. for instance in the US, you have southern accents, boston accents, yankee accents, etc.. just because she doesn't talk the same exact way as someone else from brazil doesn't mean she has a "fake accent"

That's normal, she tried to speak a good english, for her it's easy to speak english with accent, Adriana, can't speak a correct english, and even her is saying that she don't like her portuguese accent. @Nammie7 I disagree. She ended up with her dream because she chased it. Yes, the looks enabled her to get this far, but its all about will and determination. She took the classes and has the right attitude for the runway. Think of super smart people, some work hard and do great things, some are lazy and will just do the bare minimum, and accomplish nothing.

Being pretty/smart/talented/strong/i­nsert-here isn't enough to become the best; you have to work really hard to be this successful.

@bangoker Unfortunately it doesn't matter how stunning your face is, how perfect your body is, or how driven, determined, disciplined & productive you are; if the height is missing, then these things simply will not allow one to accomplish the dream of becoming a VS model (or any high fashion model) if the industry continually refuses to incorporate those who are not "tall enough." A hardworking individual cannot force the industry to change its standards, at least not single-handedly.

@bombshellex yes, I agree that certain jobs require certain physical qualifications. You cant play defense in NFL if you are 5" and weight 50kg, you can't be a horse jockey if you are too big, can't be a top model without certain height . But just being big/small/tall/etc wont make you the best defense, jockey, model, etc. To be the world's top (like she is at modeling) - at anything - assuming that you are physically qualified, is really about hard work, discipline and determination.

@bangoker That's definitely true, I see what you're saying. I guess I thought you were originally saying "anyone can do anything as long as they work hard enough." Which I DO believe is possible, in a way. But it would also be a shame if someone worked their entire life to become a VS model, for example, only to keep getting refused by the "higher ups" because of their height. Eventually, you would have to become "the best" at something else.
