She doesn`t scream the high notes... but this is a very low volume... I wonder can you sing opera when you have a thiny voice? Or better should you... can it become something professional? She has a very beautiful voice and good pitch but is it enough?
She has a very beautiful vibrato. I have a question regarding vibratos. I've had a natural vibrato since I could remember. It's just comes very natural, but through a couple of years my vibrato seems to have sped up. My teacher has me do vocal warm-ups to slow it down. I know it's hyperfunction, but does the frequency of the vibrato have to do with the breath? It's frustrating. And it also seems to speed up when I'm infront of an audience. I would love to get your opinion.
@antha97 There are several ways to control vibrato. Two ineffective amateur versions are opening and closing the back of your throat or moving your jaw up and down. You can control vibrate speed using the diaphragm the correct way, the same physical feeling as laughing, HO Ho Ho or connecting the waves in a siren sound. Sing a repeated staccato note and then in the same breath continue pulsing the note, but with legato
O mio babbino caro Mi piace è bello, bello Vo' andare in Porta Rossa a comperar l'anello! Sì, sì, ci voglio andare! e se l'amassi indarno, andrei sul Ponte Vecchio, ma per buttarmi in Arno! Mi struggo e mi tormento! O Dio, vorrei morir! Babbo, pietà, pietà! Babbo, pietà, pietà!
I was just to coment about the lack of legato, without reading desciption. Sorry. Very interesting excercise.

12 of these people are obsessive watchers of the X factor and therefore don't know real singing...

Hm, lass lieber die Daniela Vladescu in ruhe, Liesl!
Auch sie hat videoclips da, vielleicht wiesst sie nicht dass du es missbrauchst...

Very good control. You hit the high notes without screaming. I am quite impressed, and I have heard about a hundred singers do this piece.
Brava, brava (you get the third brava when I hear it without the laughing in the middle).

You have an AMAZING gift, i would of loved for you to hold the high notes, crescendo just a slightly then diminuendo, like at 1:18-1:23.

exactly! you have a very nice voice and you sing in perfect pitch, just try to hold some of the notes to give more feeling to this beautiful aria.
