Just saw "Going Native" on Showtime and then I remembered seeing some Native Comedian on David Letterman waaaay back in high school and he was hilarious and totally radical and for about 5 minutes he completely cut loose and did a pared-down but rawer version of the above sketch and then they suddenly cut to commercial and when they came back he was gone and Dave looked scared...it was awesome. Glad I found this and glad to hear he's been busy.

I saw Charlie at Native festival at Rancocas, NJ in '87 and I thought his stuff was incendiary as it was funny: "You'll see! We'll get our land back, put you on reservations and then we'll be the ones going, "'boo-hoo-hoo-hoo.'" Way more than on tv at that time. Man! Dave not ready for it after 12:30!.

I was supposed to see him at a Micosukee/Seminole festival 7 years earlier, but canceled because he had to see over his kid's birth. She was at Rancocas.. Wonder how she's doing?
