@bulrydrdan yeah, back in 1982 when I was getting ready to leave the old 315th OMS (C141) Chief Zimmerman (RIP) asked me, "so Giddens, where are you going to?"----"I said, Travis, Chief"-----Zimmerman's desk chair went flying backwards and exploded on the wall behind him. He bellowed: "Travis, any Goddamn place but Travis!"! My next door neighbor was a country music fan and he used to sing "I turned 21 at Travis, Momma tried , momma tried".....LOL!

Being a Crew Chief is over-rated. You get the odd ball jobs and get blamed for everything. The USAF had to make a position like this for scape goat reasons.
