Well, neither have I seen a thai that is merely good-looking as well. Oh by the way, the reason why there is "NO photoshopping" in Thailand is probably because you Thais are under-budget. Yeah, after the tsunami and the protests, tourism kinda decreased, leading to deficit spending in the graphic industry. Therefore, your graphic designers can't purchase any kind of image altering programs :)

The majority of Chinese offsprings in Thailand nowadays cannot speak Chinese and also don't know Chinese culture. They call themselves Thais because of using Thai nationality and among Thai culture. New generation for Chinese people given birth in Thailand are Thai race, not Chinese race. It's different from Malaysia, Singapore and others that Chinese can speak their own mother language, know the cultures and declare themselves as Chinese race. My Thai-Chinese friends have told me.
I didn't say anything about him speaking Chinese or knowing Chinese culture. I was talking about his ethnic background and thats German and Chinese. That makes his background German and Chinese but his nationality is Thai. You can't belong to the Thai race if you don't have Thai in you. But you can be Thai if it's your nationality. Its the same situation for British Chinese. They are British but ethnically Chinese. It's not a hard concept to understand. By the way I'm also Thai Chinese.

But he is a Thai citizen so therefore he is a Thai person. Being ethnically Thai and being a Thai citizen are two different things, but both types of people are labeled as Thai.
