Whow - Another Obama. Can't stand for anything until he set up a dozen investgative teams to report back. He "probably" will have them make the decision since that would give him denyability!
@StaticMMO Liberal my ass guy. I drink, smoke, and believe in gun ownership. I would like to be able to live in the older ways on free land, but since I have to live in this society I have to play by the rules. That's why I'm getting more involved with this.
Everything is ALL POSITIVE in Haslam's Facebook page. There is no way to leave any kind of negative comment. Is this the way he would lead Tennessee as Governor? His mind and ears are closed. This is so typical of East Tennessee. Don't let this happen Tennessee. This guy sells more alcohol and ephedrine than any other person in Tennessee.
you must have someone in jail...b/c i dont really care about our prisons...they living on our tax money anyways and those funds i feel are needed elsewhere...our prisons and jails should be like 3rd world countries in my opinion...then maybe people wouldnt want to go there
I am twenty two from Gallatin, right outside Nashville. This is unacceptable. This guy is a joke, and he will be influencing my future, and my rights... I dun think so. I especially like his new televized ad. about reducing the quality of jails and extended sentencing. Works great since the folks opposed to this can't vote.
yeah easy questions for a rich dressed up southern idiot who only cares about his immediate family and could care less about the average hard working/nonworking unemployed no fault of their own...you conservation southerners go ahead and vote for this idiot. thank god there's less of you and the younger votes will cancel yours out. lets get em all out of there.
Ron Ramsey is a far better choice than either Haslam or Wamp. He's of sound character and the more conservative candidate-- a guy I'd expect to lead. Haslam looks horrible here. That said, I remember being in high school and watching Zach Wamp lie to me at a leadership conference (I'm 31 now) talking about how he would leave Congress after 3 terms and believed in term limits. Or at least change his mind. I'd certainly pick Wamp over Haslam, but really Ramsey is who Tennessee deserves. sigh
First, this was obviously edited to make Haslam look like the entire interview was Haslam scrambling for answers. The first question, honestly, was an idiotic question. Would you fund more scholarships or pre-K programs? There are bigger fish to fry right now in Tennessee than babysitting four year-olds! Who should lead? Wamp. Yeah, that's the guy: a two-time college flunk out who had more than one trip to rehab who's never even managed a business and who broke campaign pledges right away.
Why don't you guys point out how many times the Knoxville Police busted the Pilot's in Knoxville for having Cherry Master video poker machines in them in their early days? That's what Bill did in those days. Empty the poker machines. That's how he helped build that chain.
The price of pilot gas was $ 3.89 in tennessee while gas in oaklahoma at the same time was only $ 1.89. we got the gouge ok. I just hope west tennessee are not stupid enough to be misled by his disceiving ads.
as far as i know, Haslam doesn't shack up with a bunch of adulterous theocratic loons on c street (like Wamp). and he hasn't engaged in any batshit birther conspiracies (like Ramsey). the guy's bland, but he's DEFINITELY the lesser of three evils.
So you think Bill will PROBABLY be a good governor. Well, PROBABLY doesn't cut it when it comes to leading Tennessee and making decisions that will impact our children for years to come. Bill's a great mayor, but he's not prepared to lead our state. Zach Wamp KNOWS what's important to Tennessee because he LISTENS and does his homework.. Don't vote for a name or for the person who buys the most ads, signs and direct mail pieces. VOTE ZACH WAMP! He's DEFINATELY the right person to lead Tennessee.
Bill's a great mayor, but he's not prepared or ready to lead our state. Zach Wamp KNOWS what's important to Tennessee because he LISTENS. His track record in Congress speaks volumes. Don't vote for a name or for the person who buys the most ads, signs and direct mail pieces. Vote for the right person to LEAD Tennessee. VOTE ZACH WAMP FOR GOVERNOR.
Haslam's company, Pilot Corporation, was found guilty of price gouging Tennesseans during the worse recession since the Great Depression.
Additionally, what Mr. Haslam has done in Knoxville with red light cameras is more proof that Mr. Haslam wants to make TN a police state. Mr. Hutchison who is running for mayor this year is on record opposing the red light cameras.
Bill Haslam is not the best choice for Tennessee. Tennesseans can do much better than Haslam.

What is Haslam's position on the Constitution? I have never heard him mention the Constitution, particularly the 10th amendment.

Who decides what price gouging is? The only price that is too high is a price that people won't pay. It's not like Pilot has a monopoly on gasoline.
